Optimize the entire order processing flow; introduce the pull principle

The Procedure
- Analyze the full value-add chain
- Set up a KF order processing center
- Perform a supplier and product/material survey
- Launch a supplier initiative
- Thoroughly analyze procurement costs
- Segregate purchasing and procurement
- Commence C part management

The Result
- Costs of materials cut by approx. 6%
- Delivery times (A items) reduced by approx. 40%
- Machining time for final products reduced by approx. 45%
- Procurement and process costs for A parts cut by 32%
- Procurement and process costs for C parts cut by approx. 64%
- Inventory reduced by approx. 15%
