The Objective
Increase productivity and production flexibility

The Procedure
- Analysis: Value Stream Mapping, Value Steam Design
- Optimize and stabilize production processes: SMED Workshops, workshops for optimizing workflows
- Decouple prefabrication and assembly; introduce the pull principle
- Reorganize the receiving storage location, including fractal storage allocations to the production lines
- Optimize internal material staging (milk run)
- Train and coach employees

The Result
After three months:
- Setup time decreased in accordance with the target agreement.
- Flexibility increased.
- Inventories were reduced in accordance with the target agreement.
- Storage space utilization was optimized.
