"To our never-ending quest for progress"
The continued pursuit of excellence is one of the fundamental elements of a successful enterprise, regardless of its given environment.
Agamus has acquired extensive know-how in the course of rising to the recurring challenges of drastically reducing costs and securing enterprises' competitive capacity. A look at our projects with regard to industry and province reveals a focus on the automotive and automotive supplier industry. This is a sector in which profitability and continuous adaptation to changing market demands are fundamental viability requirements.
The term we use to describe all projects of this nature, as well as their methods and tools, is WCM (world-class manufacturing).
WCM comprises three key elements:
- Purposeful, precise and persistent implementation
- Proactive involvement of all personnel in the process
- A demand-focused tool set
In accordance with our enterprise philosophy, we attach utmost importance to recruiting personnel with professional and management experience in the given fields. Another prerequisite is a firm grasp of the lean business philosophy, as well as detailed knowledge of the principles and tools that this entails. Alongside our roster of generalists, experts with the skills required for highly specialized tasks figure prominently in our workforce.
Our fundamental approach comprises the following phases:
1. The familiarization phase, with the goals being to:
- Understand the customer and his environment
- Understand the customer’s problems and goals
- Etermine the basic parameters for the analysis
2. The analysis phase, with the goals being to:
- Determine the actual status (using value stream mapping, among other methods)
- Define the targeted status (using value stream design, among other methods)
- Ascertain the potential and the means to exploit it
- Assess the potential
- Draft a roadmap and time schedule for implementation
- Where feasible and desirable, implement immediate measures
3. The project/implementation phase, with the goals being to:
- Determine the procedure for implementing the defined measures, jointly with the various task forces/teams
- Implement the measures and evaluate performance and success
- Track measures (follow-up plan) as well as the transfer of know-how
When Agamus begins analyzing the customer’s actual situation, the specific problems are catalogued with an eye to the customer’s strategic goals. With this information at hand, our consultants can readily identify appropriate means and tools to tap the company’s dormant potential. The ensuing rapid implementation creates the dynamic impetus required to achieve success. And success breeds success!
From day one, the Agamus team collaborates closely with the customer’s personnel in the true spirit of partnership. Measures are tracked persistently and our consultants maintain a constant presence on site to ensure efforts to attain technical, business and organizational goals progress according to plan.
We leverage a pair axes to tap the potential identified during the analysis:
- A management axis
- A bottom-up axis

It takes persistence and discipline to achieve the desired success - the persistence to ensure defined measures are implemented consistently and the discipline to follow them through and develop them further.
